About the role
This exciting new role sits within the Digital Marketing Team, operating as a key part of the Central Marketing Function. You will be a strategic thinker with the ability to prioritize content requirements across the business. You should also be confident in adapting your tone of voice across multiple brands, working towards deadlines, and maintaining accuracy under pressure.
You will have the analytical ability to conduct keyword research and analyse content performance across multiple channels, with a key focus on increasing organic traffic across the business. You will also be creative in your approach so that you can develop content that engages our audiences and provides an outstanding customer experience.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled SEO & Content Executive to take ownership of our content creation and curation across multiple platforms, with a key focus on developing content for our websites, email newsletters, and social media. Given the digital nature of the role, you should be comfortable learning how to use and regularly working with digital and Content marketing tools.
As an SEO & Content Executive, you will work on;
Websites and SEO
- Work with the Head of Digital to deliver on the SEO content strategy for our brands
- Complete monthly SEO tasks, including periodic traffic reports that highlight SEO performance against agreed KPIs
- Conduct market keyword research to understand the valuable content clusters and keywords that we’d like to rank for
- Carry out content analysis with the ability to provide strategic insights and effectively communicate findings
- Identify organic growth opportunities and advancement within the ever-evolving SEO landscape
- Create both topical and evergreen website content that achieves agreed KPI’s
- Drive high domain authority backlinks to our websites through developing effective content
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager to ensure all our websites are kept accurate and up to date, and that any changes are in line with UX and website optimization best practice guidelines
Email Newsletters
- Curate engaging content for our “Do What You Love” newsletters
- Build and schedule our newsletters, ensuring A/B testing is applied and that performance and learnings are reported on and shared
Social Media
- Create engaging content for both organic and paid social activity
- Work with the Digital Marketing Manager and Senior Digital Marketing Executive to understand the content that helps us achieve our objectives, and continually apply learnings when developing new content
Tools
- Elementor, WordPress, Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, Google Analytics, Adestra, the Meta business suite, Photoshop/Canva and video editing software, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog
Requirements
- A strong ability to learn and grasp relevant digital and Content marketing tools
- Experience in outreach and link building
- Strong background in writing
- Strong analytical and reporting skills
- Passionate about content marketing and how it can be used to achieve objectives
- Highly organized, excellent time management and great attention to detail
- Strong analytic ability with a data driven approach
- A good understanding how to use content to engage, inform and motivate
