Job description

We are a global company with a mission to advance the art and technology of visual experience. We know that creating an inclusive environment that values and encourages different perspectives is critical for our success, and the success of our people. We are learning, listening and taking action to be better and foster trust in our community. Our goal is to ensure every person working at Foundry feels safe and free to be themselves, to share their ideas or concerns and that there is equal access to opportunities for all.

Our hybrid policy is balanced; requiring employees to spend at least two days per week working from a Foundry office and up to three working remotely. We’re striving for the best of both worlds; giving people the freedom to decide where they work most of the time, as well as the opportunity to build relationships and work with people across Foundry.

THE ROLE.

We’re looking for a skilled PR and Content Marketing Executive, with experience in VFX, animation, media or technology, to Join our Brand & Content team. This newly created role will bridge the gap between our customers and our content strategy to bring Foundry’s storytelling efforts to life. Your primary mission is to dig deep and unearth those amazing customer stories that make our brand shine. From planning to distribution, you'll be hands-on in getting our key messages out there, making sure our content reaches the right eyes through smart PR and social media strategies. To thrive in this role, we're looking for someone who's not just skilled but passionate—someone who loves movies and TV as much as we do and brings that enthusiasm to work every day. If you're eager to contribute, excited about entertainment, and ready to be a crucial part of our team, we can't wait to meet you.

THE RESPONSIBILITIES.
  • Content Marketing: As part of the Brand & Content team, you will help to develop and implement a cohesive Content Marketing strategy that supports our wider marketing goals and Foundry’s business priorities. From go-to-market plans to product launches, you will be fundamental in the coordination and production of content, including but not limited to blog posts, press releases, case studies, video content, and social media content.
  • Client Outreach & Relationship Management: You will lead client outreach efforts, developing and maintaining strong relationships with our customers to unlock the stories we want to tell. Act as a primary point of contact to both customer and client [internal brand and Content team], to ensure both parties are informed and satisfied.
  • Public Relations: Devise and execute PR strategies to enhance brand and product visibility. Own the end-to-end process, including pitching stories, managing press inquiries managing proactive and reactive opportunities and cultivating relationships with key media contacts and influencers.
  • Brand Messaging: Ensure all content and PR activities consistently reflect the company's brand voice and messaging. Collaborate with the wider marketing team (digital, industry and product marketing) to integrate PR and Content Marketing strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track and analyze the performance of content and PR campaigns, using data to inform future strategies. Provide regular reports on key metrics, including reach, engagement and ROI.
  • Content Development: Support our Content Marketing efforts by promoting customer projects and points of view, pitching internally to feature quotes and stories for press releases, blog articles, social media posts and newsletters that resonate with our audience.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team and other departments to ensure a cohesive PR and Content strategy and support cross-functional initiatives.
