TITLE: General Operations Manager / Managing Director – Waste & Recycling
SALARY: Negotiable depending on your current level and experience (Circa £50-80k)
LOCATION: Chepstow
Previous roles may have been: Commercial Waste Depot Manager, Operations Director, Metal Recycling Operations Manager, Skip Hire General Manager, Aggregates Recycling Manager, Transfer Station Manager, Managing Director, Area Collections Manager, Depot General Manager, Area Quarry Manager
ROLE: General Operations Manager / Managing Director – Waste & Recycling
You will be responsible for a waste collections and processing operations
You will manage P&L and deliver a profitable operation and identify growth opportunities
You will ensure vehicle, safety and environmental compliance
You will ensure staff are trained
You will look to deliver improvements to safety, quality and production levels while minimising costs
EXPERIENCE: General Operations Manager / Managing Director – Waste & Recycling
You will have a background in the Waste Management sector such as metal recycling, commercial waste, construction & demolition waste recycled aggregates, biomass, skip hire or similar and ideally had responsibility for collections and processing operation
You will be a strong man manager
Useful qualifications COTC / WAMITAB, CPC, IOSH, NEBOSH
You will be commercially astute and have managed P&L
The level of the role is flexible depending on the level of the right candidate this could range from Depot Manager to Managing director, you may have been: Commercial Waste Depot Manager, Operations Director, Metal Recycling Operations Manager, Skip Hire General Manager, Aggregates Recycling Manager, Transfer Station Manager, Managing Director, Area Collections Manager, Depot General Manager, Area Quarry Manager

Salary: £50,000.00-£80,000.00 per year
