As a newly created role we are seeking a Director who will lead all Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged access Management (PAM) security architecture activities across LSEG. Accountable for defining the overall strategy and the roadmap for how the target states will be reached. This challenging technical role will work with low level technical details when needed. The role works closely with a broad set of colleagues across LSEG including senior leaders, engineering & cloud teams, and corporate teams to deliver outcomes which align to our ambition for LSEG to be one of the world’s great companies!
Experience and Skills
  • Experienced security professional with broad general experience across technology domains.
  • Depth of knowledge and significant proven real-word experience of IAM, PAM and Secrets Management domain areas across on-premises and cloud service provider environments.
  • Experienced in the building and measurement of security controls and governance activities specific to the role.
  • Experienced with identities in large complex organisations. Ideally with M&A and divestment experience as it relates to the role. Financial services experience useful but not essential.
  • Experienced in strategy formulation and presenting it to engineers and senior leaders.
  • Experienced and comfortable in tactical execution to solve immediate challenges.
  • Experienced with current engineering and automation practices. Everything as code.
  • Experience in bringing clarity to poorly defined problems and robustness in solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail and questioning when the data and anecdotes do not align.
  • Ability to prioritise and lead multiple activities within a team.
  • Ability to influence and empower to drive high quality outcomes.
  • Understanding of the tools, techniques and procedures used by adversaries.
  • Experienced in people leadership and mentoring for to help others work at to their best.
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of experienced security architects and any additional contingent team members in the delivery of the security architecture of IAM, PAM and Secrets Management.
  • Partnering closely with the security engineering team to deliver the outcomes.
  • Direction and decision making to guide project activities.
  • Strategy definition and roadmap to reach target states for on-premises and cloud environments.
  • Provides input to the cyber security programme priorities and delivery plan.
  • Partnering with teams across LSEG to automate access management activities.
  • Write and present architecture documents and artefacts.
  • Architecture review and approval processes for domain area at governance forums.
  • Develops key indicators to measure performance and risks.
  • Developing and refining standards, patterns, and guidelines for the domain area.
  • Ensuring capabilities and control remain relevant and effective in line with industry standards, regulations, and changes in the threat landscape.
  • Overseeing third-party partners and suppliers in their provision of services to LSEG.
  • Dedication to excellence in the team, helping others to grow and work at their best.
  • Finances are handled inline with any allocated budgets.

Likely to be familiar with some of the following technologies and platforms.
  • Sailpoint IDN, Sailpoint IIQ, CyberArk, BeyondTrust, Virtual Directory Services, Oracle Identity, IBM IGI, Hashicorp vault, CSP secrets management solutions.
  • EntraID, Azure, AWS, Active Directory. Okta, Ping, OpenLDAP and different MFA solutions.
  • SSO, OAuth, SAML, OIDC, LDAP, Kerberos, OpenID and so on.
  • Workday, Fieldglass, CSP’s – Azure, AWS, GCP.
