The Director, Non-Retail Sourcing will lead a team to drive sourcing value creation initiatives and strategic growth within non-retail segmentsThe role involves sourcing and managing Generics for non-retail channels with a focus on Generic Injectable categoryThe Director will work cross-functionally with different teams and build relationships with injectable suppliers

Responsibilities
• Develop strategic goals and drive execution of value creation initiatives for non-retail segments• Deliver financial value to C1 members through sourcing of generic products• Develop and strengthen relationships with Generic Injectable suppliers• Provide sourcing expertise and consultation on supplier decisions and enterprise projects• Use data and advanced analytics to identify supplier opportunities and risks• Manage ongoing technology enhancements and prioritize implementation• Identify process changes to support strategic growth and drive implementation• Understand and address concerns of supplier base• Manage supplier and member escalations related to sourcing activities• Work cross-functionally with C1 business units to accomplish enterprise goals• Promote diversity of ideas and perspectives across the business• Manage a team of sourcing individuals and support their growth and development
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree; preference for Finance, Economics, Business or similar• Product sourcing experience in generic pharmaceuticals preferred• Minimum of 8 years experience in sourcing, finance/business analysis or product management• Minimum of 4 years managerial experience• Formal training in negotiations and/or demonstrated experience• Excellent communication skills and ability to develop rapport• Well-organized, process and team-oriented with ability to prioritize quickly• Strategic and analytical thinker with strong negotiation skills• Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships• Advanced proficiency with MS Office
