About the role
As our Director of Campus Experience and Commercial Services you will champion, develop and oversee the implementation of the University’s strategies for Campus life (social, catering, retail, residential, student support), for the benefit of the student, visitor and staff experience.This job will work towards achievement of clear deliverables to improve student satisfaction and income generation/return from across the campus and accommodation buildings. The job also involves taking overall accountability for the external partnerships relating to Campus Experience.
You'll use your creativity, imagination, and entrepreneurship to add significant value to the quality of Campus experience of staff and students.
About you
To do this job you'll need the managerial background and experience necessary to provide professional, technical and strategic advice at a senior management level within UCL, to identify and implement opportunities for improvement and the management of change. You'll have experience in an estate leadership role across a large-scale property portfolio with significant operational experience of soft services, including a 24/7 operation which focuses on high standards throughout.
You'll have a track record of leading the provision of operational facilities through the delivery of both in-house and external delivery models. You'll be skilled in engaging with people across an organisation and building a support for a way of working, and setting up the appropriate structures to act, communicate and review. You'll also be commercially minded, with a focus on experience and income and how they work together in unity.
