Job description

At Hearst there’s always more to the story. We have an exciting opportunity for a Junior Branded Content Editor to join our team, championing entertainment and lifestyle content on Cosmopolitan and Digital Spy but also overseeing wellness, fashion, health and beauty content across Hearst’s stable of amazing brands.

In this role you will be part of Studio Hearst, creating compelling multi-platform Commercial Content that resonates with our diverse readership. You will be working collaboratively with teams across the business to bring Branded Content campaigns to life, from ideation to delivery.

Day to day, you’ll be writing, commissioning and editing both print and digital articles that embody our brand values and capture our readers’ attention; you’ll work with our in-house video team to script, shoot and edit world-class commercial video content that land our clients’ messaging while entertaining our audiences; and you’ll be bringing your social media expertise to craft innovative, thumb-stopping social content that runs across a range of platforms, from TikTok to Instagram.

Beyond content creation, you’ll be amazing at juggling multiple projects at once, a dab hand at administrative tasks and at home interpreting performance metrics to help refine our content strategies.

ABOUT YOU:

  • A passion for entertainment, popular culture and fashion, with a finger on the pulse of what’s trending.
  • Exceptional at writing, editing and commissioning.
  • Proven experience in end-to-end content creation.
  • An understanding of Branded Content, with a keen eye for what makes a successful campaign.
  • A flair for innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in both print and digital, including using CMS.
  • Familiarity with SEO and social media best practices.
  • Able to generate engaging video concepts across platforms.
  • Able to tailor content strategies for diverse audiences.

While prior experience in editorial or Branded Content is an advantage, it’s your passion and creativity that we are most interested in.

WHAT WE OFFER

At Hearst UK, you can choose from a huge range of perks and benefits that can help you learn well, work well and live well including:

  • 25 days’ holiday (with the option to buy up to 5 additional holiday days) - pro rated for part-time or fixed-term employees
  • Hybrid working – Three days per week in the office
  • Discounted gym membership
  • Healthcare cash plan
  • Spend a charity day with your favourite good cause
  • Life assurance and pension scheme
  • Regular socials and more!

There’s more to your story than you imagine. And the next chapter begins right here.

Hearst UK is deeply committed to using our influential brands to reflect the world we want to live in – one that respects, protects, represents and uplifts the voices and opinions of all people. As a business, we recognise the significant benefits of creativity, collaboration and innovation that comes with diverse teams.
