Director Of Finance

Sabhal Mòr Ostaig is the National Centre for Gaelic Language and Culture based in Sleat on the Isle of Skye.  We have just celebrated our 50th anniversary year and are looking to appoint a Director of Finance who can help play an important role in the future development of the College.  Reporting to the Principal, the Director of Finance is part of the Executive Team and will provide financial strategic direction and operational leadership to a range of teams whilst ensuring the financial health and sustainability of the College. We are looking for an influential leader who is financially astute and technically strong, with the ability to operate at both a strategic and operational level.  Whilst experience of Finance within the higher or further education sector is preferable, we will consider applications from those outside of this sector. Ideally you will be a fluent or advanced Gaelic speaker although opportunities for language learning will be provided for the right candidate.
