SalaryThis post requires a motivated and flexible individual who will join us as an integral part of our Senior Leadership Team. You will be a professionally qualified accountant and have proven Board and management experience.
You will be a confident leader, capable of working strategically with the Principal, Corporation and other Directors to drive the College forward and to continue to improve the overall financial position. This role requires an individual with exceptional communication and organisational skills. Experience of working in Further Education is desirable.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Managing the College’s finances in line with changes in the sector
- Supporting Senior Managers and the College Corporation
- Working to provide and enhance the outstanding service provided across College
- Developing the Finance team in line with the College’s strategic aims
The successful candidate will be an experienced accountant with robust financial experience at a senior level within a complex, multi-million-pound organisation. Significant experience in budgeting, financial planning and financial control are essential, as is the ability to work with external stakeholders regarding income and funding arrangements.
This is a full-time role, based at our Watford Campus. You will also be required to attend meetings and events held at any of our sites and / or community venues.
