Director Of Finance And Operations

The Director of Finance & Operations is responsible for the good financial management and smooth operations of this innovative renewable technologies company who works with customers and business in order to help reduce their Carbon Footprints and use their energy more efficiently as well as further research into renewable technologies.

The role would involve finance management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting to the board of trustees, producing annual accounts, liaison with auditors and acting as the Company Secretary. You would also manage a small team who cover HR, Health & Saftey, GDPR, Office Management and Legal Compliance. You would also be a member of their executive team.

To successfully apply for this role you should be a qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, CCAB or CIMA), a proven track record of financial Management and experience of organisational improvement.

Any understanding of Charity Accounting, The Charities Act, SORP, Tax, Payroll, National insurance and Pensions legislation would be an added advantage. As would understanding of strategic risk management, finance audit and internal controls.
