The role of Director of Finance and Operations entails a multitude of responsibilities, requiring the leadership and oversight of all operational business functions within the school. This includes managing financial affairs, ensuing health and safety compliance, overseeing premises, human resources, compliance, administration.
 
Director Of Finance and Operations:

• Director Of Finance and Operations salary is £75-85k (dependent on experience).
• Full time, Permanent.
• Offer proficient leadership and strategic direction to execute school-wide transformations and allocate resources in alignment with the school improvement plan.
• Assume responsibility for overseeing the school's financial management, always ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
• Provide HR administrative services to line managers, overseeing the complete employment and well-being of all staff members.
• Collaborate in the development, implementation, and review of best practices across the entire school.
• Manage HR-related responsibilities, including recruitment, payroll processing, attendance management, and maintenance of staff personnel data.
• Willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check.

 
Director Of Finance and Operationsrequirements:

• A School Business Management Qualification
• An accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, AAT)
• Previous experience in a senior leadership role, ideally within a school environment.
• Significant experience of financial planning and analysis within an organisation
• IT proficient
• Demonstrated ability to multitask, manage heavy workloads, and exhibit personal integrity and professionalism.
• Well-natured, resilient, and enthusiastic.
