Description
- Leading the financial and operational strategy of the institution.
- Managing the annual budgeting process and presenting financial reports.
- Coordinating with other department heads to drive operational efficiency.
- Overseeing risk management and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Contributing to the development and execution of the institution's strategic plan.
- Driving the financial planning of the institution by analysing its performance and risks.
- Ensuring cash flow is appropriate for the institution's operations.
- Supervising all finance, operations and HR personnel.
Profile
A successful Director of Finance and Operations should have:
- An academic background in finance or a related field.
- An Accountancy Qualification- CIMA/ ACCA/ ACA/ CIPFA
- Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods.
- Proficiency in accounting software and financial management.
- Managed Finance and non-finance teams previously
- Strong leadership and organisational skills.
- An ability to strategise and solve problems.
