Director of Food and Beverage – Luxury Hotel

Location: Victoria, BC

Salary: $100,000 - $120,000

This role requires someone with a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences and a proven track record in Food and Beverage management.

Director of Food and Beverage Duties:

• Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage operations team to deliver on our Service Culture and leadership promise
• Develop the annual Food & Beverage budget with a focus on revenue, costs, productivity, and efficiencies while ensuring accuracy in monthly financial outlooks and results
• Strategize on new products, service offerings, and upsell opportunities
• Develop and maintain strong partnerships with corporate and tourism sponsors
• Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating restaurant management staff to maintain a high level of service and professionalism
• Stay up to date with local competition, industry trends and best practices to enhance the hotel’s growth and drive Food and Beverage sales

Who are we looking for?

• You will have 5 years’ experience in a senior food & beverage leadership position
• Previous unioin experience preferred
• University degree in Hotel Management or related discipline a strong asset
• Vision and ability to lead and motivate others
• Proven ability to analyze data and trends, create strategies for improvement, and take risks
