Job Description
Role
We are currently looking for a Director of Food & Beverage to join our Executive team at Rosewood London. The Director of Food & Beverage reports directly to the Hotel Manager and is responsible for the efficient running of the 7 Food & Beverage outlets, contributing to the overall success of outlets, in accordance with the hotel’s standards and financial goals.
Key expectations of this role
- Taking a leadership role in engaging with associates and business partners to meet and exceed their needs.
- Acting as a coach and mentor to the Food & Beverage Department Heads to ensure high engagement levels, people development and highest associate retention to strengthen the company culture.
- Managing food and payroll cost without impact on brand, or quality standards.
- Consistently maintains established standards across the Food & Beverage outlets through leading by example and quality control.
- Showing a thorough understanding of the London upscale hotel and restaurant market to ensure the highest standards of service.
- Proactively attracting and selecting talent for the Food & Beverage outlets in line with company procedures and culture.
- Working closely with other Executive Committee members in a supportive manner, focusing on the overall success of the hotel.
Profile
- The ability to demonstrate leading and developing people effectively.
- Proven Food & Beverage skills in an upscale and high volume environment.
- The ability to build strong relationships with all associates in the Food & Beverage outlets and the hotel.
- A thorough understanding of managing various stakeholders and their expectations.
