Director Of Fundraising, Marketing And Communications

We are thrilled to be working with Southampton Hospitals Charity who are looking for an ambitious Director of Fundraising and Marketing to lead and inspire a team of 13 who are responsible for raising awareness and generating £4m each year.
As Director of Fundraising and Marketing, you will provide exceptional leadership and vision to develop and grow the charity’s profile and income streams. While overseeing all aspects of Fundraising, you will inspire and support the marcomms team to build on brand awareness and increase community engagement. The charity already have a strong high-value function so this role will focus on developing the public fundraising strategy.
At an exciting time for Southampton Hospitals Charity as they have recently become an independent charity, have an new art trail this year and an ambitious team.
To be an excellent Director of Fundraising and Marketing you will need:

• Exceptional planning and budget management experience
• Ability to influence and persuade internally
• Experience leading fundraising teams, ideally with a public or mass fundraising background
• Outstanding communication skills and ideally a some Marketing and Communications experience

Salary: £70,000-£75,000
Contract: Full time (part-time considered) - FTC 12 months
Location: Hybrid – Southampton
