Director Of Investor Relations

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Investor Relations Director from a regulated industry to join my PLC client which works in regulated sectors on a fixed-term (6-9 month) basis. You will oversee managing and improving communications between the organisation leadership team and external investors.

You will also develop the framework, team structure and narrative to deliver compelling communications on strategy, performance and ESG.

Description

The Director of Investor Relations will take the lead in shaping and building the framework, team structure and narrative to deliver compelling communications to the external investor community and key stakeholders. You will lead the creating and delivery of communications of business strategy, business performance and ESG topics across digital formats, quarterly reports, presentations and other investor communications.

• Work with the leadership team to develop the communications narrative.
• Work with internal teams to create exact communications to highlight the organisations achievements, opportunities and future outlook.
• Help the organisation develop a strong connection to external investors and develop effective communication processes to proactively respond to queries with informative content and data while meeting regulatory protocols.
• Develop the communication style and narrative that will enable investors to clearly and concisely understand the business performance in annual reports, quarterly updates, investor presentations in an inclusive style to appeal to a diverse audience of Investors and stakeholders.
• Keep the leadership team informed of market trends and peer organisations to assist the development of statements and presentations given to investors and agencies.
• Ensure IR sections of websites are correct and informative.

Profile

• We are seeking an immediately available experienced Director of Investor Relations who will work on a hybrid basis of 1-2 days per week in the office. You will also show:

  • Excellent experience in financial reporting and communication with deep understanding of Investor relation management, capital markets and rating agencies
  • Excellent communication capability that is adaptable to a range of sectors and audiences.
  • Highly detailed organisation skills, exceptional understanding of financial information and able to manage multiple deadlines and tasks.
  • An inquisitive mind with the ability to easily build relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • The ability to deliver on tactical IR tasks whilst developing the longer-term strategy and plan for the IR function on how best to manage the investor relation process, team size and communication framework to be fit for the future.
