We are now recruiting for a Director of Marketing to lead on all aspects of brand, communications, digital marketing, lead generation and acquisition for both fundraising and volunteer recruitment. The Director will bring strategic planning and ensure timely execution, with cross-department collaboration. The organisation is going through an exciting period of growth, seeking to double revenue and triple volunteering in the coming years, so this role will require creativity, determination and a focus on solutions. In summary, the Director of Marketing is responsible for crafting and executing a strategic marketing plan that not only raises awareness but also drives tangible support and resources for their UK branch. This includes acquiring new supporters, leading fundraising initiatives, managing communications, and fostering a positive and impactful brand image. The Director will be a key member of the Leadership Team, a champion of the values and behaviours of the organisation, contributing across the organisation to ensure their UK’ marketing efforts help to achieve the business goals.
The successful candidate will have significant experience of working in a marketing or communications function at a senior or strategic level. You will be an excellent team manager having led a marketing team previously and will be comfortable supporting the team with tactical day to day marketing when required. You will have experience working with or supporting acquisitions, fundraising or lead generation and will have worked in the charity/not for profit space or as a minimum will have gained experience as a trustee/volunteer. In addition, you will be an active Christian or as a minimum be sympathetic to the Christian faith.
