Director of Nursing, Aged Care

Cpl Healthcare is seeking applications from experience Registered Nurse Managers for the role of Director of Nursing for an established Cork City Nursing Home.

This is a 73 bed home at full capacity, which prides itself on the community and home from home feeling evident throughout the home. This role requires the successful candidate to have previous care home experience at a senior level and someone who is looking to step into an already very structured organisation with excellent support structures in place.

Excellent remuneration package available with this role.

To be considered for the role, the following selection criteria will apply:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Senior Nursing Management position in Care of the elderly (within the last 6 years).
• Post-registration management qualification (QQI Level 6 minimum)
• Currently registered with NMBI
• Proven track record of clinical, leadership and people skills
• Thorough knowledge of HIQA standards, regulations and the 'HEALTH ACT 2007'
• Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills
• Proven track record in decision-making ability
• Qualification in Gerontology is desirable
