Role:
This position is responsible for supporting the execution of the Mastercard Cross-Border Services Product Management roles and responsibilities. This role works in conjunction with other teams/requestors to draft the business requirements for product development and complete all product and project readiness activities required to commercialize new features and functionalities.
Act as a SME for all aspects of the product, leading and training internal stakeholders and regional partners on how the products works and why.
Use Aha Road mapping tool to build product roadmap, prioritize and report on the Product Roadmap.
Partner with Product Owners to quantify and elaborate business requirements and ensure what is delivered meets the Product needs and requirements.
Adhere to the product development life cycle and include the Studio and P&E partnership principals to deliver all prioritized projects.
Provide thought leadership to create a compelling product vision for new Cross-Border offerings with enhanced capabilities and business value.
Customer Feedback and Insights:
Collect and assess customer feedback, user data, and market insights to gain insights into pain points and areas for enhancement within Cross-Border payment product. Utilize this feedback to prioritize feature improvements and inform strategic decisions regarding product roadmaps, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Engage in collaborative efforts with stakeholders throughout the organization, spanning sales, marketing, engineering, and customer support, to gather input, align priorities, and propel cross-functional initiatives forward. Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholders seeking information or updates on Cross-Border payment product, ensuring effective communication and coordination across teams.
Ideation and Conceptualization:
Engage in collaborative ideation and conceptualization sessions with stakeholders, including customers, sales teams, and technical experts, to generate innovative ideas tailored to address pain points and capitalize on market opportunities. Forge close partnerships with design and engineering teams to transform these conceptualized ideas into detailed product requirements and prototypes, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market dynamics.
Requirements Definition and Documentation:
Collect and document comprehensive requirements for enhancing Cross-Border payment product, ensuring precision and alignment with stakeholder expectations. Convert business requirements into tangible user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications for the engineering team, facilitating effective implementation and alignment with project objectives.
Feature Prioritization and Roadmap Planning:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to prioritize the development of features, focusing on business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility. Maintain close oversight of product roadmap planning, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and evolving customer and market demands.
Release Planning and Execution:
Coordinate closely with engineering teams to strategize and execute product releases, ensuring the punctual delivery of features and improvements. Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of new functionalities to guarantee their quality and reliability prior to customer release.
Prototype Development and Testing:
Supervise the creation of prototypes and minimum viable products (MVPs) to validate new concepts with intended users. Conduct user testing sessions and collect feedback to iterate on prototypes, refining product features before proceeding with full-scale implementation.
Go-to-Market Strategy:
Partner closely with marketing and sales teams to craft effective go-to-market strategies for new products, features, encompassing aspects such as pricing, positioning, and promotional activities. Develop marketing collateral and sales enablement materials to facilitate the successful introduction and adoption of new products in the market.
Performance Tracking and Optimization:
Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to gauge the effectiveness of new product and features and consistently track performance against predefined targets. Utilize data analytics and user feedback to pinpoint areas for optimization and ongoing improvement, iterating on product features and strategies as necessary to enhance overall performance.

  • Proven track record in Product Management, with experience in the payments industry or related sectors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and customer insights to drive product decisions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on innovation, customer value, and business growth.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and Product Management tools.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the payments industry is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and analytical skills, and ability to think strategically and translate concepts into clear, actionable strategies and tactics;
  • Strong self-motivation and organizational skills;
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, productive, collaborative working relationships with internal stakeholders over cross-functional teams from multiple countries.
