SalaryAs a Document Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring all project documents are managed in line with procedures, distributing documentation, and effectively communicating with contractors and third-party document control teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and maintain project documents according to established procedures.
- Distribute project documentation based on the distribution matrix.
- Interface with contractors and third-party document control teams.
- Maintain master document registers, project correspondence, and technical query modules within the Electronic Document Management System (EDMS).
- Support the Document Control Lead in activating and monitoring EDMS users and permissions, ensuring availability of the EDMS to users, and managing project templates.
- Undertake additional activities as required.
- Experience and understanding of document control systems and processes, including the ability to set up and manage workflows.
- Knowledge of supplier and engineering document management.
- Excellent proficiency in MS Office applications.
- Outstanding communication skills to effectively collaborate with project stakeholders.
- A strong focus on continuous improvement, seeking ways to enhance the quality of document management processes as an aid to project management.
