Document Controller - Social Housing Planned Maintenance
Based in South East London with hybrid working opportunities
Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: £30,000- £40,000 DOE
We are currently recruiting for a permanent Document Controller to work with a leading Construction Contractor working on a planned maintenance framework in South East London.
Document Controller - Key Responsibilities:
- Act as point of contact for all drawing and document control issues
- Quality assure incoming documents against file naming standards and feedback any issues to the originators, providing guidance where required and retained on central document management system
- Review and control of document management protocols
- Archiving historical documentation
- Clear communication of expectations for documents management
- Produce weekly report of information logged and circulate
- Monitoring and distribution of design technical queries and design information
- Completion, maintenance and monitoring of records
- Ensure proper records maintained for document distribution
- Perform day to day admin tasks in regards to the clients systems
- Produce regional system usage reports for the project teams and System Manager
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience of working within document control and document management toolsets
- Strong Microsoft Office experience
- Experience of working in the construction industry (ideally social housing)
- Knowledge of document management systems
- Knowledge of Information Management procedure
- Ability to pick up new software and systems very quickly
- Conversant with the MS Suite of software
