Carrying out cleaning duties as instructed. Cleaning of laboratories and offices as designated including communal areas, stairs, corridors, lift, and toilets. Domestic trolleys are to be kept clean, fully stocked, and tidy at all times. Equipment should be thoroughly cleaned after use including filters in vacuum cleaners in accordance with the manufacturers instructions Carry out cleaning in accordance with schedules Replenishing toilet paper, soap, paper towels as required Advise Domestic stores of consumables that need replenishing Ensure waste is correctly segregated Damp dust furniture, fittings, edges, ledges, paintwork walls, and doors.
Emptying rubbish bins and ensuring the replacement bags are in accordance with the Trust waste policy. Carry out safe hygiene practices and procedures in accordance with Trust policy and code of practice. Checking of equipment prior to use to ensure all faults are reported to the manager as they develop. Reporting of accidents/dangerous occurrences to management and contributing to the completion of accident forms.
Ensure correct cleaning procedures are adhered to and keep updated with changes to products.
