Domestic Gas Engineer Position Overview
Our client is looking for a qualified Domestic Gas Engineer to undertake the servicing, maintenance, and repair of gas appliances in residential properties across the Bristol region. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of gas installations, while providing excellent customer service.
Domestic Gas Engineer Position Requirements
Gas Appliance Servicing:
Perform routine servicing and maintenance of Domestic Gas appliances, including boilers, heaters, and cookers.
Fault Diagnosis and Repair:
Identify and diagnose faults in gas appliances and systems, and carry out necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
Compliance and Safety Checks:
Conduct safety checks and adhere to all relevant industry regulations and standards. Ensure that all work meets Gas Safe and Health and Safety requirements.
Customer Interaction:
Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of work carried out, addressing any concerns, and offering advice on maintaining the efficiency and safety of gas appliances.
- Gas Safe Registration.
- NVQ Level 3 in Gas Installation and Maintenance or equivalent.
- Proven experience in servicing and maintaining Domestic Gas appliances.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driving license.

- £40,000 - £42,000
