Drainage / Flood Risk Engineer

A close client of mine are now looking for a Drainage / Flood Risk Engineer with a minimum of 2 years' relevant experience. Senior Engineers will also be considered for this position in Birmingham.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare Flood Risk Assessments, Surface Water Drainage Strategies, and Foul Water Drainage Strategies to support Planning Applications for residential and non-residential projects across the UK.
Liaise with clients, third-party consultants, council officers, and the wider engineering team, attending meetings as required.
Utilize Microdrainage/Flow software to model drainage networks.

Essential Requirements:

Relevant degree-level education.
Exceptional presentation skills.
Strong knowledge of UK Drainage/Flood Risk Regulations and Best Practices.
Proficiency in Microdrainage/Flow, Microstation/AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office (particularly Word).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
