Calibre Search are proud to be working with one of the world leaders in Design Engineering on a number of projects across the UK. Their clients range from HS2, Network Rail, National Highways and Local Authorities and a lot in-between with designs ranging from strategy, concept and feasibility to detail design and construction support.

Due to securing projects on a number of frameworks, they are looking for Technical Manager to provide services within their Drainage Team in Leeds City Centre. You will work in collaboration with the Drainage Technical Lead and wider Sustainable Water Management leadership team to lead the technical performance, technical profile and thought leadership in the drainage business.

In this role you will ensure technical excellence in the delivery of drainage projects, delivering a broad range of drainage solutions for a diversity of clients and sectors including for the highest profile and complex transport and infrastructure projects in the UK.

You will develop the team's technical capability through mentoring and training and be responsible for technical review and continuous improvement. As well as providing coordination with other disciplines, service lines and technical areas, to drive best practice and innovation, you will provide technical leadership and input into bids and look to raise the profile of the drainage team through thought leadership to support future growth potential.

They are committed to providing an inspirational, supportive and inclusive workplace environment and you will become a key part of this team, dedicated to delivering innovative, lasting solutions to the highest profile challenges faced by their clients.

You will be a Chartered or Incorporated Engineer and/or degree qualifications and a recognised leader in drainage design and solutions across multidisciplinary projects. You will be competent with drainage modelling software (Causeway Flow or MicroDrainage) and have technical expertise in all forms of drainage, asset management and sustainable foul and surface water drainage design

As much as this role is based in Leeds, their hybrid working policy allows the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home as well as collaborating in their contemporary offices across the UK
