We have a role for a draughtsperson / CAD Technician available to work on a permanent basis for our client based in Accrington, BB5.
The company operates on a 4-day working week Monday-Thursday. It is likely there will be overtime available allowing you to increase your earnings.
The company is a leading design and manufacturer of production machinery. Often working on creating bespoke solutions across a variety of sectors.
Key responsibilities for the Draughtsperson / CAD Technician:
- Produce multi-sheet electrical schematics, layouts, and fascia drawings to IEC-60617 from engineers' sketches using an AutoCAD based drawing package. Competence in AutoCAD Electrical software is preferred.
- Compile and issue of electrical parts lists, liaising with suppliers and the purchasing department to ensure parts are correct, delivered on time and comply with the Company's ISO 9001 quality procedures.
- Produce cable and wiring schedules.
- Produce installation design diagrams.
