SalaryWe are looking for a personable and professional Visitor Centre Functions and Wedding Coordinator to support the operation of our popular Visitor Centre. This role will offer lots of variety and will include planning and hosting tours, weddings, parties, concerts and more in a truly unique venue.
The successful candidate will have great attention to detail and be prepared to lead from the front to provide exemplary service and memorable experiences to our guests.

- Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday with 1 hour lunch (unpaid).
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assists the Visitor Centre Operations Manager with the day to day running of the Visitor Centre
- Support the Visitor Centre Operations Manager to identify opportunities to enhance the customer experience and grow the business
- Identify new sales leads to maximise business growth
- Develop relationships with new and existing clients to promote repeat custom
- Handle customer enquiries for future bookings
- Act as Duty Supervisor at functions
The Ideal Candidate:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar role, including by not limited to events management, hospitality or front-of-house
- Conscientious with a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service to our customers for memorable events
- Friendly and approachable with the ability to effectively communicate difficult conversations with external stakeholders, both written and verbal
- Diligent with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel & Outlook) and data analytical skills
- Organised to effectively prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced and agile department, assisting other tasks as required
- Flexibility to cover other departmental tasks or assist as required
