SalaryI'm currently looking to fill the position of Duty Manager at The Seaview in John o Groats. The Seaview is a charming inn located on Country Road, and we're in need of a responsible and experienced individual to join our team full-time. This role also has a live-in option available, so you can truly immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of the area.
As Duty Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the inn, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. You will work closely with the rest of the team to provide exceptional service and maintain the high standards that The Seaview is known for. This role requires a hands-on approach, as you will be involved in all aspects of running the inn, from front desk management to housekeeping to food and beverage service.
To excel in this role, you must have previous experience in a similar position, preferably within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership skills are a must, as you will be supervising a team of employees and ensuring that everyone is working together towards a common goal. Excellent communication skills are also essential, as you will be interacting with guests on a daily basis and representing The Seaview in a professional manner.
In addition to these requirements, the ideal candidate will be flexible, resourceful, and able to think on their feet. The hospitality industry can be fast-paced and unpredictable, so being able to adapt to changing circumstances is key. A positive attitude and a passion for providing top-notch customer service are also highly valued traits in this role.
