Location: Farnborough (5 days per week onsite)

Rate: £600 - £700 pd inside IR35

Job Description: We are seeking a highly experienced End User Compute Architect with specialised expertise in designing, implementing, and maintaining advanced end-user computing solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in VMware Horizon, Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM), App Volumes, Windows 11, Unified Access Gateway (UAG), Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), and NetIQ. This role demands a professional capable of managing VDI environments within scalable settings and contributing to the architecture and maintenance of secure, efficient end-user computing infrastructures.

Key Role Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain end-user computing standards, guidelines, and best practices to support business objectives.
• Manage and maintain user provisioning with NetIQ, ensuring efficient user access across platforms.
• Design and implement VMware Horizon-based solutions, optimising VDI and application vitalisation to meet evolving business requirements.
• Ensure end-user computing environments adhere to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Produce and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, configuration guides, and SOPs.
• Foster collaboration across infrastructure, networking, security, and application development teams to integrate end-user computing solutions seamlessly.

Essential Skills:

• Proficiency in VMware Horizon and UAG.
• Expertise in VMware Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) and App Volumes.
• In-depth knowledge of Windows 11, including CIS L2 policies and base/gold
