Calling all Early Careers Teacher (ECT's) Are you concerned about fitting in applications and interviews into your final term alongside your placement? The Secondary team at Tradewind have over 30 years experience helping teachers at the start of their career find their perfect school and start their teaching career on the right foot!

Originating in St Albans we proudly work with all of the main trusts, federations and schools in the area. We are looking for teachers who are available from September 2024 and are offering full time, permanent contracts at a range of schools. No need to fill in endless applications, no obligation interviews, full prep and guidance available for lesson plans. We have schools and cover options available for those looking to start in July and are proud of our strong reputation in the area since 2004 supporting ECT's springboard their career with the right school.

How it works - ECT Teacher

An initial, low key conversation with our team offering a transparent approach. We will work with you to ascertain your preferences and best suitability to the schools in your area. We offer as much (or as little) support as you need with interview, lesson observation prep and negotiate on your behalf ensuring you get the best possible offer amongst your peers. There is no cost to you or obligation just the opportunity to impress at interview at a number of schools.

Tradewind work with large MAT's, Grammar schools, established state schools and schools on guided improvement plans. The choice is yours. All posts are paid to (and sometimes above) scale and include full teaching responsibilities across key stages 3, 4 and potentially KS 5. These are full time roles, with the appropriate timetable reductions for mentor-ship and development.

ECT job requirements

• Teaching degree with any subject specialism
• References from your placement school(s) with a CV detailing your school experience
• Availability to interview at suitable time around your current studies and placement
• Desire to take an active part in all aspects of school life
