Job Title: Early Careers & Skills Development Manager (Apprenticeships & Skills)

Salary: £58,000+ Depending on skills & experience
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a team of Development Leaders and skills coaches, building effective relationships with the Business and key Functions to ensure delivery solutions are both timely and effective
- Developing and enhancing the L2 – L4 Engineering and Manufacturing curriculum to meet internal business requirements and external standards
- Engaging BAE Systems next generation to achieving a positive outcome and progression into the business
- Leading all safety, safeguarding and welfare aspects of the Early Careers provision
- Providing and interpreting accurate management data to effectively monitor performance against set KPIs, with a focus on ensuring timely performance and quality improvement interventions
- Ensuring that allocated Individual Training Plans and funding paperwork are maintained in accordance with the current ESFA funding rules and regulations
- Managing relationships with the Business and key Functions to ensure delivery solutions are both timely and effective
Your skills and experience:
Essential:
- Stakeholder Management experience
- Engineering and or manufacturing background
- Experience of delivering Apprenticeship programmes within an ESFA/OFSTED regulated environment which is underpinned by expert knowledge of apprenticeship frameworks/standards, registration and certification processing, monitoring quality and audit compliance whilst retaining centre approval status
- Supervisory / management experience
- Internal Quality Assurance Assessor & Verifier awards
- Level 4 Teaching certificate or equivalent

- Level 4 Leadership and Management Qualifications
