Early Years Assessor

Morgan Hunt are currently working with a leading Education Provider based in East London who are currently seeking to appoint an Early Years Assessor to carry out work place assessments for apprentices and other work-based learners on Early Years level 2 and level 3 qualifications, including apprenticeships, within the prescribed routines set by the awarding organisation and the College Quality Manual.
The Early Years Assessor will be responsible for:
* To induct candidates, including apprentices, and carry out Initial Assessment in accordance with policy and awarding organisation guidelines.
* To assess candidates' progress in accordance with policy and awarding body requirements.
* To carry out assessments adhering to the awarding organisation code of practice.
* To prepare ILPs, carry out regular reviews with candidates in accordance with distance learning criteria.
* To participate in the delivery of training relating to relevant workplace qualifications, apprenticeships and additional programmes and when required to, enhance learning with one-to-one tutoring.
* Ensure candidates are tracking their 'off the job' training on apprenticeships
* To prepare materials suitable for the workplace qualifications and apprenticeships to assist the candidates.
* Prepare candidates for End Point Assessment (EPA) when Standards are introduced.
* To assess distance learning qualifications when required
The Early Years Assessor will need to have:
* Previous assessing experience within Early Years (EYE), STLS (Supporting for Teaching & Learning in Schools)
* Experience of working in the childcare sector and / or Vocational experience in a classroom setting
* Assessment and training of workplace qualifications and apprenticeship candidates
