Working as part of a management team , to oversee the day to day running of the Nursery. Dealing with both internal and external issues. This is a management position and has responsibility for leading and motivating staff and making decisions to ensure that standards of quality are maintained and required procedures are followed.
Our ideal candidate will have:
• Extensive experience in Early years education and management.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• A deep understanding of child development and best practice in Early years
pedagogy
• The ability to create an inclusive and supportive environment for children with
diverse backgrounds, including those with English as an additional language
(EAL)
• A passion for fostering emotional development, empathy, and self -identity in
young children.
Responsibilities Include:
• Developing and implementing a child-led play-based curriculum that promotes
holistic growth.
• Build positive relationships with children, families and staff
• Work as part of a management team to ensure compliance with regulatory
requirements within the Early years foundation stage and health and safety
requirements.
• Work as part of a management team to development continuous improvement
plans and business development.
• Support and mentor staff in their professional development.
• Collaborate with parents and the wider community to enhance children’s
learning experiences.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care and that policies
and procedures for safeguarding children are fully implemented by all nursery
staff.
