Class People are on the hunt for Qualified Early Years Practitioners. We are a well-established and leading recruitment agency specialising in education from Early Years through to secondary education. Class People work with an abundance of Early Years and nursery settings within Gloucestershire. We are currently on the lookout for flexible qualified practitioners to work within these settings and boost our ability to provide high quality and experienced practitioners to their settings.
As part of your role, you will be required to work alongside staff within the settings to promote the advancement of learning of children and facilitate their progression into the school setting. Whilst there is not a requirement for key-working duties, there is the possibility once you've got your foot in the door of a setting and hit the ground running!
To be able to fulfil the role you need to be:
* Qualified to at least Level 3 standard in a relevant qualification e.g. NVQ, CACHE, BEd, etc.
* Reliable and conscientious
* Flexible and open to trying new settings
* Honest and trustworthy
* A great communicator and organised within your work
* Holding a Paediatric First Aid qualification or have a willingness to undertake the course (which we can offer to you!)
Whilst having a driving licence and access to your own vehicle is advantageous, it is not essential as plenty of settings are accessible via public transport! This role is subject to satisfactory childcare-based references and a valid Enhanced DBS check. Got a DBS aleady, and it's registered on the Update Service Even better!
