The role of the Early Years Apprentice is to help ensure all children receive outstanding quality care and education and supporting families to thrive. Meeting the children’s individual needs, creating an enriched learning environment, and working alongside the Nursery Leadership Team to implement and promote the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
Requirements:
- You must have GCSE Maths and English (Language or Literature is acceptable) grades A-C/Level 4 or above or Functional Skills Level 2.
- You must be a UK or EEA citizen or have lived in the UK for the past 3 years. This is an Apprenticeship funding requirement.
You will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check, funded by Bicknacre Preschool, to share in our commitment to safeguarding children.
Bicknacre Pre-School is a 'not for profit' community-based organisation, situated in the grounds of Priory Primary School, We run two sessions per day. Our morning session is 8:50am to 11:50am. Our afternoon session runs from 11:50am to 2:50pm. We have a high adult/child ratio, ensuring that we can pay attention to the individual needs of each child in our care. We work hard to provide high quality care for children from the age of 2 up to statutory school age term time only.
