About our Nursery
Busy Bees Day Nursery and preschool at Headingley Grove are proud to hold Ofsted rating Good. The warm and friendly team look forward to welcoming a new Early Years Teacher, assisting them in giving our children the best start in life.
You will find our Leeds Headingley Grove nursery on Grove Road just a 2-minute drive from the town centre of Headingley. With just a 15-minute drive away from Leeds City Centre we are in the perfect location. Arriving via public transport? There is a bus stop just a short 2-minute walk away from the nursery on Grove Lane served by route 91. You will also find Headingley Arndale Bus Station a 10-minute walk away, served by alternative bus routes.

What to expect as an Early Years Teacher
- You will ensure every individual child’s needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs.
- Deliver an expert knowledge of the EYFS framework.
- Take ownership of the observation, assessments and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps.
- Ensure we encourage and praise children’s development and achievements.
- And most of all…have FUN!
*To apply for this role, you must hold an Early Years Teaching qualification and previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Teacher or Early Years Teacher)*
