Who are we?
We are Worldwide Flight Services, WFS for short - proud Ground Handling Partner of easyJet here at Edinburgh Airport since 2018. We handle all easyJet services, flying to over 40 destinations from Scotland’s capital. From serving guests through bag drop & boarding to handling their baggage and ensuring a safe, professional operation around the aircraft.
As a Baggage Hall Agent, your main responsibilities will include collecting outbound hold baggage and sorting it into the correct baggage carts based on the corresponding flights. You will need to transfer these bags from the Baggage Hall to the ramp team for departure, ensuring all bags are accounted for, including firearms, sporting equipment, and rush bags.
We offer an hourly rate of £12.10 along with opportunities to progress your career with a global business.
Please note that this role is for:
1 Full Time, 37.5 hour per week contract worked on a shift basis of 6 days on, 3 days off.
3 Part Time, 29 hour per week contract worked on a shift basis of 6 days on, 3 days off.
Driving license is mandatory.


Your main responsibilities on a day to day basis will be:-


  • Collecting bags for specific flights and destinations from the airport baggage system
  • Stacking bags onto baggage carts
  • Removing sticker from baggage tag and placing onto a bingo card to reconcile before delivering to the ramp team.
  • Making sure all bags are for the correct flight & destination before delivering.
  • Driving on the ramp delivering bags in a timely manner to the correct stand which the aircraft is parked.
  • Being able to work in all weather conditions.
  • Working alongside early bag store to collect any hold luggage for departing flights.
  • Communicating between the ramp agents & supervisor to ensure delivery of bags to departing aircrafts.
  • Reporting all equipment malfunctions to the appropriate supervisor & manager.
  • Complying with all regulatory legislation as well as airport authority and carrier security requirements.
  • Complying with WFS Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s)
  • Always maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

  • This is not your normal 9 till 5 job. You will be required to do early and late shifts, including weekends so flexibility in working hours is critical
  • A valid UK driving license is essential
