Ec&I Engineer

Our client
Our client is a varied and complex chemical plant looking to appoint an experienced EC&I Engineer to support the ongoing investment for the future.
The opportunity
Reporting to the Senior EC&I Engineer, you will be involved in supporting and driving process improvement throughout the existing plants & assets.  You will provide higher level technical expertise to the pro-active plant based maintenance team to improve technical knowledge of existing assets,  whilst providing EC&I expertise to support new capital equipment and technologies throughout the plant.  Working with a variety of technologies (Siemens PLC's, Emerson DSC etc) you will pro-actively collaborate with Operations, Maintenance and other engineering disciplines to maximise performance and output.
About you
With a minimum of HNC/HND in either Electrical or Controls & Instrumentation, you will have previous experience in providing EC&I expertise to a COMAH site.  You will have experience and understanding of the required regulatory compliance associated.  Previous experience in a variety of different control systems will enable you to understand the plant's Siemens PLC's and Emmerson DSC to maximise performance.  With well developed communication skills, you will demonstrate the ability to engage effectively with the shop floor and external contractors to support the ongoing investment and site process efficiency.
