JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Product Trading Manager to join our International eCommerce team on a 12 month FTC!

As a Product Trading Manager you will support the growth of international eCommerce at Next through identifying opportunities with product ranges to optimise sales across different international markets.

You will build good relationships to work collaboratively with product and eCommerce teams, to present analysis of markets and be able to identify and communicate potential opportunities. 

You will be responsible for working to improve customer product onsite experience internationally by reviewing sizing optimisation, return data analysis and product exclusions at country level. 

We can offer hybrid working with part of the week working from the Next Head Office in Enderby, Leicestershire and part of the week working remotely (3 days office, 2 days remote)!

We can offer a competitive salary band of £39,000 - £50,000.

This position is a 12 month FTC.

About the role

  • Product reporting and analysis.
  • Presenting International eCommerce data to senior members of the business.
  • Building relationships with key senior stakeholders in product buying.
  • Finding range gaps and opportunities and presenting these to the business.
  • Planning, management & execution of product led campaigns and identify opportunities for additional promotion activity.
  • Optimise product sizing information and returns rates and product exclusions across International eCommerce sites.
  • Build and own the relationship with internal brand management teams to optimise new brand launches & brand sales.
  • Manage key product range launches across Next & Brands.
  • 6 weekly presentations to divisional buying teams.
  • Quarterly divisional deep dive meetings.
  • Product campaign management across international websites e.g. “Back to School”
  • Upgrading the product attribution data. 
  • PDP improvement projects and testing.
     

About you

  • Previous experience of working in an eCommerce environment and/or trading, merchandising or buying.
  • Comfortable with presenting to senior stakeholders.
  • Manage and negotiate different stakeholders effectively.
  • Analytical and comfortable with large volumes of data.
  • Organised, thorough and excited by a challenge you’ll work well in a busy and fast moving retail environment.
  • Good at prioritising workload to meet requirements and tight deadlines.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills & able to effectively work with members of both the immediate and wider team, at varying levels.
  • Highly motivated and hardworking with a professional attitude who is able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment.
