A popular secondary school in Redbridge, East London, are searching for a Computer Science Teacher / Computer Science ECT to join their team!

As a growing department, there is scope for an experienced Computer Science Teacher to take on a TLR, as well as full support available for a Computer Science ECT in the infancy of their teaching career.

The Head of Computer Science is keen to find someone with energy and passion for the subject, who can continue to grow interest in Computer Science to follow their trend of growing uptake at GCSE & A Levels. JOB DESCRIPTION

• Computer Science Teacher / Computer Science ECT
• Inspiring and motivating the younger generation
• TLR Opportunities: KS Coordinator, HOY or Project initiative TLRs
• ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke NQT induction, In & out of house training and more
• Interviews ASAP with aim for a September 2024 start
• Full time, permanent position
• £34,000 to £56,000 salary

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining it
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• Reflective practitioner keen to grow
