Primary Teaching Pool

We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Teachers to join our Teaching Pool, which provides short-term, long-term cover and possible permanent opportunities across a range of primary schools in Blackburn with Darwen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school pupils in accordance with the National Curriculum.
- Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
- Assessing and recording pupil progress, and setting targets for improvement.
- Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
- Communicating effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
- Adhering to school policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding and health and safety.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience of teaching primary-aged pupils.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
- Ability to work flexibly and adapt to new environments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
