Primary Teaching Pool

Location: Blackburn with Darwen

Job Type: Full-time/Part-time

We are seeking enthusiastic and dynamic Primary Teachers to join our Teaching Pool, which provides short-term, long-term cover and possible permanent opportunities across a range of primary schools in Blackburn with Darwen.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to primary school pupils in accordance with the National Curriculum.
• Planning, preparing, and delivering lessons that cater to the diverse needs of pupils.
• Assessing and recording pupil progress, and setting targets for improvement.
• Managing behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Communicating effectively with pupils, colleagues, and parents/guardians.
• Adhering to school policies and procedures, including those relating to safeguarding and health and safety.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience of teaching primary-aged pupils.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to new environments.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
