A specialist injection moulding engineering company based in Aylesbury are looking for an experienced EDM Wire / Spark Eroder to join their friendly team. The company supply complex high precision mouldings to a variety of industries across the UK including Motor Sport, Medical, Aerospace and Military. The Role - EDM Wire & Spark Eroder
The company are looking for an experienced EDM wire / spark eroder to work within a very demanding but rewarding environment. 

Duties - EDM Wire & Spark Eroder

• Machining a range of exotic metals/mouldings into precision components for high end motorsport, aerospace, defence and medical applications
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical diagrams
• Advantageous but not essential, the use of verification software to ensure CAM programs are pre-machining risk assessed and fit for purpose.
• Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment at all times.
• Providing feedback to team leaders and shop floor staff to highlight any technical issues or potential risks.
• Help drive technology and cutting-edge manufacturing techniques.

Requirements - EDM Wire & Spark Eroder

• Ideally experienced working on Sodick or Chamilles Wire Erosion             machines, but training will be provided.
• Leadership skills are desirable
• Good verbal & written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexible approach to workload and business requirements
• Works well in a team environment
• The ability to work under pressure
• From an engineering background 

Hours of Work - EDM Wire & Spark Eroder
Monday - Friday - 08:00am to 4:30pm 
Other shifts are available if needed.
