A local authority is looking for a Qualified Social Worker to be the Team Manager of their Emergency Duty Service.
This is a full-time, permanent position paying up to £60,349, based in Swindon.
You'll be joining a local authority who uses a Family Safeguarding Model.

This position is only available for those who have right to work in the UK and have a Social Work Degree.

Responsibilities for you as a Team Manager:

• Provide management and supervision to the Assistant Team Managers


• Ensure all staff stay motivated and continuously developing through learning opportunities.


• Demonstrate a personal and professional example to the team by demonstrating the values and behaviours of the Council.


• Attend meetings when necessary.

Requirements for you as a Team Manager:

• Social Work Degree / Diploma in Social Work


• Social Work England Registration


• Must hold a full UK driving licence


• Significant experience within a front-line Childrens Social Work setting


• Management or Supervisory experience


• A working knowledge and understanding of relevant Social Work legislation and regulations

Salary: £60,349 + Benefits
