Job Title:EHCP and FE Support Coordinator (SENCO)

Salary: £37,099 - £39,347 per annum - SS6.
Job type: Fixed-Term (Up to 12 Months), Full-time.

The Role:
UCB's highly experienced Disability Support team requires cover for its SENCO role. The successful candidate will be joining UCB during an exciting period of growth, including the development of world-class facilities, and our partnership with University of Warwick.
The SENCO coordinates support for Further Education (FE) students who have disclosed a disability or SpLD. This will require managing our Academic Support Worker team on a day-to-day basis, maintaining quality of support provision, and working closely with our wider curriculum teams and external agencies.
The successful candidate will have proven managerial experience in this area, in addition to experience of working with Education Health and Care Plans (supporting students with EHCPs from transition in to transition out) and being empathetic towards students with disabilities/SpLDs.
Further, the successful candidate will have excellent communication and organisational skills, a thorough understanding of the OFSTED EIF, and an in-depth knowledge of associated disability legislation, funding, and regulatory bodies.
Subject to pre-employment checks, this role has a start date of March 2023.
