Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer
Southampton / Hybrid working
6-month contract / Outside IR35
Rate £45.00 - £50.00p/h DOE
Chemical / Process / Amtech / AutoCAD
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a key client based in the South-East, who are specialists in engineering within the chemical & process industries. They are looking for an experienced Electrical Instrumentation Engineer from a design and project background on an initial 6-month contract.
The successful Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer will be required to conduct the following duties:
- Provide Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering specialist knowledge to ensure standards are met
- Design and detailing using AutoCAD & Amtech
- Support client reviews of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering deliverables
- Oversee & coordinate the project team in line with defined and approved requirements
- Support client tendering and procurement processes associated with contracted works
The successful Electrical & Instrumentation Project Engineer will need to have the following attributes:
- Preferably Educated to HND/Graduate level and/or demonstrating relevant practical experience.
- Experience in Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering
- Budgetary skills
- Ability to check technical designs
- Experience in managing safety instrumented systems is preferred
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
