Hours per week: 37 Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:15
This opening assignment is for 3 months

This role is to cover elections work and therefore the candidate is likely to be required to work additional hours before the election
To provide efficient and effective support and assistance to the Electoral Services in the delivery the Council’s statutory Electoral Services.
Key Responsibilities Support the administration of electoral registration in line with the requirement of Individual Electoral Registration, this includes the processing of appropriate forms.
Support the administration of Elections management with the registering of absent voters including the, checking and scanning of application forms
Provide assistance in organising the administration of all elections and referendums within Warwick District, being responsible for; the booking of polling stations and monitoring of responses and changes to be made; including ensuring that the stations are accessible for all voters
Ensure that the polling station equipment is maintained and appropriate resources are available for each polling station. NB: Please feel free to apply to us direct via by quoting the job reference and job title exactly.

Must be able to use their own initiative when prioritising their workload in order for all deadlines to be met
