The main purpose of this role is to manage the Electrical and Lift compliance specialist function, ensuring that this organisation is fully compliant and up to date with the required legislation and adhering to best practise.
The core responsibilities of the post include
- Delivering the Electrical and Lift maintenance/safety requirements of Homes and Neighbourhoods as per current legislation
- Ensuring Electrical and Lift compliance of all Council assets
- Attend meetings with internal & external suppliers to ensure delivery of all commissioned services
- Responsible for managing and maintaining frameworks and contracts with external suppliers including KPI’s
- Responsibility for maintaining PPM schedules and risk logs
- Proactive programming of electrical testing (fixed and portable)
- Working as a member of multi-disciplinary design teams delivering electrical requirements for capital/revenue investment projects
- Provision of competent advice and support in relation to Electrical and Lift maintenance and compliance to all stakeholders.
Extensive experience in electrical maintenance and Lift compliance is essential for this role.
