Electrical Building Services Engineer

The Client:
Our client is a well-established consultancy firm, focusing on diverse Building Services encompassing electrical, mechanical, heating, and air conditioning solutions.
The Role:
As an Electrical Building Services Engineer, you will be engaged in a diverse range of construction projects providing technical and commercial solutions.
Responsibilities:
-Formulating design calculations, preparing specifications, and developing tender documentation for electrical services.
-Prepare specifications, schedules, and drawings to installation standards.
-Undertake site inspections and prepare associated reports.
-Collaborate with specialists and other disciplines.
-Conduct feasibility studies and prepare budget costs.
-Ensure compliance with Building Regulations Part L and BREEAM.
-Work with mechanical and energy engineers for low-energy design solutions.
-Attend design team meetings and project meetings.
-Stay updated on regulations and standards.
Requirements:
Essential:
-Previously worked as an Electrical Building Services Engineer or in a similar role.
-At least 3 years of experience in Electrical Building Services design.
-Experience in design consulting or contracting.
-Background in electrical detail design and performance design.
-Understanding and Knowledge of BS7671.
-Skilled in AutoCAD, Dialux, Relux, Amtech, and/or Hevacomp.
-HNC or equivalent in a relevant subject.
-Valid UK driving licence.
Desirable:
-Previous experience in the Building Services design environment.
-Membership in IET or CIBSE or working towards it.
-Experience with SAP and/or SBEM and LZC reporting would be beneficial.
-Skilled in Revit MED or Magicad.
