Electrical Design Engineer

Our client is a leading, well established and respected manufacturing business.
Due to company growth, they have an opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join the team.

Duties:

• Executing the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound electrical engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.
• Delivering products as part of a cross-functional, multidisciplinary team.
• Working closely with Control System Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineers to ensure thorough functionality and successful machine build.
• Specifies needs, communicates about project approach and presents outcomes of research done.
• Using existing designs / electrical schematics and BOM's to develop the company's range of machinery including turn-key installations.

Requirements:

• Must have experience with Electrical CAD Design Software
• Must have experience designing electrical schematics for machinery
• Creative problem solver with the ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment.
• A good understanding of electrical engineering associated with capital equipment
• Analytical and logical mindset with a high attention to detail.
• Apply sound engineering skills to assist with the development and advancement of the current range of machinery.
