Electrical Design Engineer

We're working with a world-leading manufacturer of machinery for the plastics processing and recycling industries. We're assisting them in appointing a new Electrical Design Engineerto join their team in Worcester. Your day-to-day tasks will include producing electrical schematics & BOMs for BM's orders. These can consist of a mixture of individual machines & complete lines. Generally, individual machines are more straightforward and are based on previous designs with some modifications to suit the new order. Complete lines are a series of machines linked together and are slightly more complex. We're seeking someone with an electrical background and extensive experience in designing electrical schematics, BOMs, etc. This role could also be suitable for someone with experience wiring industrial panels who is interested in transitioning into design. Experience using Electrical Design software is essential (for those coming from a Technician level, basic design skills are required), preferably E-Plan, although others such as AutoCAD Electrical or Solidworks Electrical will also be considered. Knowledge of inverter drives will be advantageous. This role is permanent and can be either full-time or part-time, with a salary ranging from GBP28,000 to GBP40,000 per annum depending on experience and seniority.
